What's up guys? Welcome back to Design Proper. I know you all must have been wondering where the site went...again. Well to be honest I got really frustrated with version 2.0. The site was really bland looking. The shopping cart was never fully integrated into the site and it was always down.

So I've taken things upon myself to build a brand new website from the ground up...No more contracting out to India to have things done. This site may look really weird to you, but I'm digging it. The site looks like a French Banana! Don't you worry, that was the intent. I'm working on another layout too, but I think I'm going to keep this one up until I get bored of it.

I see that the guerilla marketing campaign in PA and NY are going well.  I’ve seen a lot of new traffic on the site and I owe that all to my street team.  I don’t condone nor do I sponsor these people, but they do a pretty good job!  

I have a new idea for t-shirt and hoodie sales.  The problem with selling through this website is I end up with a lot of leftover stock at the end of each month.  Sometimes I buy too many items and they don’t all sell.  So to remedy this I’ve come up with a new idea.

On the 1st of every month I’m going to put a mock-up of one t-shirt/hoodie on the site.  People can place their order and reserve one.  A week before the end of the month I will be processing all the orders and have everything shipped out by the end of each month.  T-shirt/hoodie designs will NOT be reprinted and will NOT be available for sale through the website once the month is over.  If they do well, then I will stock the retail stores with the shirts/hoodies.  However, you are probably going to be paying more considering the mark-up the different stores put on DP items.  The next month will sport a new design.  The idea here is to reduce the amount of overhead that I have which will lead to lower prices for the end consumer.  I took something like 1.5 years of economics…it all seems to work out.  Trust me, this is better for both me and you.  Once DP gets bigger and the retail stores start pumping out serious volume, then I might change the way things work.  But for now, the supply will be perfectly fitting the demand without any surplus.  Warren Buffet and I think it’s a brilliant idea.  Hey, maybe in the future these shirts will be worth big bucks since they will all be LPs!!!
